Background: In November 2025, a Nigerian apartment developer required the consolidation and shipping of 300 cartons of building materials (tiles, hardware, and fittings) from multiple Chinese suppliers to Lagos.
Challenge: Building materials are heavy and fragile. Over a 45-day sea voyage, the risk of box collapse under extreme weight and moisture damage (rust/oxidation) to hardware is significantly high.
Solution: Professional Consolidation & Sealing. All 300 cartons were managed under a dedicated entry code at our Baiyun Sea Freight Center. We applied multi-layer thickened stretch film to seal the cargo against salt air and used a "heavy-at-bottom" palletizing strategy with reinforced edge protectors.
Result: The shipment arrived in Lagos with zero breakage and zero oxidation. The client was highly satisfied, noting that our meticulous packing saved them significantly on potential replacement costs.
