5 HOWO dump trucks were shipped to Ghana

  • Background: In November 2025, a Ghanaian contractor ordered 5 new HOWO dump trucks for a major local infrastructure project. This batch of vehicles is the core equipment used by the customer for local large-scale infrastructure projects, and there are strict requirements for the mechanical performance and paint integrity upon arrival.
  • Challenge: The primary risk for new machinery is salt air corrosion during the 45-day sea voyage. Any rust upon arrival would decrease the vehicle's lifespan and the client's trust.
  • Solution: Proactive Protection. Before the trucks even left the factory, we applied a full-coverage industrial-grade anti-corrosion wax. We chose Lianyungang Port—China's premier hub for heavy equipment—to ensure professional Ro-Ro (Roll-on/Roll-off) handling.
  • Result: The trucks arrived at Tema Port, Ghana, in pristine condition. The client noted that despite the long voyage, the vehicles looked brand-new with zero signs of rust, solidifying YS-Shipping’s reputation as a heavy-machinery logistics expert.
